I’m Carlyn, a physical therapist with over 20 years of experience and a Certified Dementia Practitioner & Trainer. My work and my heart are dedicated to helping caregivers feel more confident, supported, and connected in their role.
All four of my grandparents lived with dementia, and watching my family navigate those years without much guidance shaped my mission: to make sure no caregiver feels like they have to figure it all out alone. This course is built from both my professional expertise and the real-life lessons I have learned walking alongside countless families.
My goal is simple: to help you create calmer, more nourishing mealtimes without adding more to your plate.
How much time will this take me? Each lesson is short — about 10 minutes to read, with one small step to try. You can fit it into your day without adding more stress.
Do I need to buy special foods? No. Everything in the course uses simple, everyday foods you can find at your local grocery store. The goal is to make meals easier, not harder.
Is this meant to replace medical advice? No. These tips are for education and support. If you have concerns about swallowing, nutrition, or safety, it’s always best to check in with your healthcare provider or a speech-language pathologist.
Once you register, you’ll get a welcome email from
Carly Lenfestey- campaigns@contactmailserver.com in your inbox within a few minutes.
That email will have everything you need to start the 5-day course.
