Payment Policy
Full payment of $200 is required at the time of registration to secure your spot in the seminar.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
A cancellation fee of $75.00 will apply for any cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled seminar.
No refunds will be issued for no-shows or cancellations made on the day of the seminar.
Rescheduling Policy
If you do not attend the seminar you scheduled, it is your responsibility to contact us to reschedule.
The instructor reserves the right to reschedule the seminar if necessary.
It is your responsibility to show up or contact us if you are having issues logging in. The Instructor is not responsible for confirming your attendance.
If you do not log into the seminar within 15 minutes of the start time, you will need to reschedule.
No refunds will be provided if you fail to attend the seminar.
Recording Policy
No form of recording (audio or video) is allowed during the seminar to ensure privacy and maintain the integrity of the session.
Attendance Requirements
Participants are required to have their cameras on throughout the duration of the 8-hour Zoom seminar.
Cameras must remain on at all times during the seminar. If you need to leave the camera off for more than 30 minutes due to an emergency, please contact your instructor to review missed information.
If your camera is off for more than one hour or if you fail to comply with multiple reminders about camera usage, you will not receive a certificate of completion.
Materials
A digital code will be provided for accessing the student handbook and is included in the cost of the seminar. Should you prefer a printed handbook, please contact carlyn@abetterwaydementiacaresolutions.com at least 2 weeks prior to the seminar to allow for processing and delivery- printed handbooks come at an additional $40.
Certification
Completion of the seminar is required for those pursuing Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) certification through the National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners.
An evaluation must be completed and electronically returned to the Instructor before receiving the certificate of completion.
Code of Conduct
All participants are expected to engage respectfully and contribute to a collaborative and supportive learning environment.
