Payment
Your spot is secured with full payment of $200 at the time of registration.
Cancellation and Refunds
Life happens, and I understand that plans change. Here's how cancellations work:
- If you cancel at least 48 hours before your seminar, no cancellation fee applies.
- If you cancel less than 48 hours before your seminar, a $75 cancellation fee applies.
- Cancellations or no-shows on the day of the seminar aren't eligible for a refund.
Rescheduling
If something comes up and you can't make your scheduled session, just reach out and I'll help you find a new date. A few things to know:
- I reserve the right to reschedule a seminar if it becomes necessary.
- Please plan to log in a few minutes early. If you're having trouble getting in, let me know right away. I'm not able to track attendance issues in real time, so it helps when you flag it yourself.
- If you haven't logged in within 15 minutes of the start time, I'll need to get you scheduled for a future session.
- Refunds aren't available for missed seminars, so I always recommend reaching out as soon as you know you might have a conflict.
Recording
NCCDP prohibits recording (audio or video) of any part of the seminar. This protects everyone's privacy and keeps our discussions open and honest, so please plan to be fully present rather than recording for later.
Camera-On Learning
This seminar works best as an interactive, face-to-face experience, so I ask that participants keep their cameras on throughout the 8-hour session.
- If an emergency comes up and you need your camera off for more than 30 minutes, just message me so I can help you catch up on anything you missed.
- Cameras off for more than an hour, or not responding to a few friendly reminders about camera use, may affect your eligibility for a certificate of completion.
Materials
Your registration includes digital access to the student handbook. Prefer a printed copy? Email carlyn@abetterwaydementiacaresolutions.com at least 2 weeks before your seminar so I have time to print and ship it to you. Printed handbooks are an additional $45.
Certification
If you're working toward your Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) credential through NCCDP, completing this seminar is a required step. After the seminar, you'll complete a short evaluation and send it back to me. Once that's in, your certificate of completion is on its way.
