Launching A Better Way-Dementia Care Solutions, LLC: A New Resource for Caregivers
As Dementia Action Week unfolds from September 16-22, I'm excited to officially announce the launch of my business, A Better Way – Dementia Care Solutions, LLC. This new venture is dedicated to supporting caregivers of individuals living with dementia, offering expert guidance, resources, and coaching designed to make the caregiving journey more manageable and rewarding.
Having been a physical therapist for over 20 years and a certified dementia practitioner and trainer for over 10 years, I’ve seen firsthand the challenges caregivers face when caring for those with dementia. My own personal journey began with my grandparents, all of whom were diagnosed with dementia. Watching my grandmother care for my grandfather and later being part of my other grandparents’ journeys was a pivotal experience. It deepened my passion for helping caregivers not just survive, but thrive, by offering the tools and strategies needed to foster connection and joy in caregiving.

Why This Week Matters
Dementia Action Week is a crucial time to raise awareness and take action in supporting individuals with dementia and their caregivers. According to the Alzheimer's Association, more than 55 million people worldwide are living with dementia, and behind them stand countless caregivers, often feeling overwhelmed and unsure of how to navigate this life-altering role. My mission is to help these dedicated caregivers find a better way—one that reduces stress, fosters connection, and empowers them with knowledge and confidence.
At A Better Way – Dementia Care Solutions, I provide expert coaching, resources, and courses that will guide caregivers through the complexities of dementia care. My goal is to create a supportive environment where caregivers feel confident and well-prepared to handle daily challenges.

What We Offer
Here are some of the resources and services we’ll be rolling out:
  1. Coaching for Caregivers: Personalized, one-on-one coaching designed to address individual challenges and goals, giving caregivers practical solutions they can implement right away.
  2. Courses and Workshops: Tailored to various stages of dementia, these online courses cover essential topics like creating dementia-friendly environments, managing challenging behaviors, and fostering effective communication.
  3. Caregiver Resources: From workbooks to practical guides, our downloadable resources will provide step-by-step instructions and helpful tips for navigating day-to-day caregiving challenges.
  4. Community and Support: A membership site that will serve as a safe, supportive space for caregivers to connect with each other, share experiences, and access valuable information.
Join Our Journey
With this new business, I aim to lighten the load for caregivers and show them that even though this journey is challenging, there is a better way. My services are built on decades of professional experience and a deep personal understanding of what it means to care for a loved one with dementia.
To celebrate the launch of A Better Way and Dementia Action Week, I’m offering a free downloadable e-book titled “Navigating the Doctor’s Office with Confidence: A Caregiver’s Guide.” This resource will help caregivers prepare for doctor visits, ask the right questions, and advocate effectively for their loved ones.
If you’re ready to start navigating your dementia caregiving journey with more ease and support, I invite you to explore our website, sign up for our newsletter, and be part of our growing community.
